Identification of Sensitive Parameters for Deformation of Asphalt Concrete Face Rockfill Dam of Pumped Storage Power Station

Pumped storage power station (PSPS) is an important clean energy project that plays role in ensuring the economical, safe, and stable operation of systems alleviating contradiction peak load regulation. Deformation analysis built under construction PSPS dam was process design operation, which great significance to ensure safe hydraulic structures reservoir site. Nevertheless, there were many parameters involved model for analyzing deformation, brings a large workload inversion application parameters. In this study, asphalt concrete face rockfill (ACFRD) Ningxia, China, taken as example, deformation 3D finite element based on Duncan–Chang E-B constructed, orthogonal test method used. The main zone, secondary bottom backfill zone factors sensitivity horizontal displacement H, vertical u, tensile strain ?. results showed initial bulk modulus base Kb, damage ratio Rf, elastic K had relatively higher significant impacts calculation results, while internal friction angle ?, fraction reduction index m, n lower sensitivity, no impact results. Therefore, when using analyze deformations face, should be focus. Parameters with low could determined by engineering analogy so achieve purpose improving efficiency premise accuracy. Meanwhile, these also strictly controlled during construction. study provide reference safety assessment ACFRD PSPS.
